Bitter Sweet

At Thunderhill with Belle and Rusty, and my friend Trung on 10/06/2008.

Well, at least the electric woes of the ZX6R was fixed (faulty fuse box). At least it ran the whole day. At least I'm back in form after my last track day when the Aprilia was binned. At least it was a gorgeous day. At least Belle and Rusty were with me, along with my good friend Trung. At least neither Trung and I had any incidents. All in all, it was a pretty sweet return to what I love doing.

Sucks that the ZX6R somehow developed a flat midrange during the time it was having its electrical woes, making me have to change my riding in order to ride around the problematic middle powerband throughout the entire day.

I love the bike to death, but the ratio of its plus and minuses are practically even at this point, and I think that perhaps it's high time to move on to a different bike. I will now be on the lookout for a replacement, but until then, it's back to the drawing board with the ZX6R.
