I purchased my very first bike brand new, and from a dealership. A 2006 Kawasaki EX500 that served me for two years without fail. Despite this, and seven bikes later, I vowed never to buy a bike brand new. The used market is so much more lucrative and opportunities are abound to snatch a piece of gem at an insanely low price.
But that bike up there, the Aprilia RSV-4 that's set to replace the current RSV, is the only bike that promises to make me break my word to not buy brand new again. I HAVE to have this bike and that V-4 engine. Have a listen:
